Ex-Nigeria international, John Utaka has nothing but good things to say about Jerome Akor, the Nigerian forward in his former team, Montpellier, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Akor, since his move from Lillestrom in Norway in the summer transfer window has scored seven times in 11 league appearances for Montpellier.
Utaka eulogised the young striker for his impressive displays for the club.
“He’s a good boy, intelligent, and he adapts quickly. He wants to progress. He knows his role here,” he told the club’s official website.
“He knows that his work will be useful to the team. If he is aware of it, that is the most important thing.”
Montpellier this weekend play Brest and Akor will be hoping to add to his tally.
