Hearts of Oak General Manager appears in Kotoko camp to console them after armed robbery attack
Hearts of Oak General Manager Gerald Ankrah visited the camp of Asante Kotoko to sympathize with the club after they were attacked by robbers on Sunday dawn.
The two teams will square off at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League derby clash.
Players and officials were attacked at the Tadoma Hotel in Tantra Hill, Accra.
Four unmasked robbers wielding machetes and kitchen knives struck around 2am; broke into the rooms of the players and officials who asleep.
They invaded the rooms of General Manager, Opoku Nti and Operations Manager, George Kennedy and attacked them.
The robbers subsequently raided the rooms of striker, Dauda Mohammed; Assistant Coach Michael Osei and Head Coach, David Duncan.
They ripped their bedsheets, tied their hands and legs before throwing them out of their rooms.
They then bolted with GH?25,000 – the total amount of money taken from the Operations Manager’s room and the head coach.
