The 19-year-old was shown the marching off orders following a reckless challenge on an opponent, leading to the opening goal from the spot kick at the Coronation Park.
Referee Adu Poku showed little mercy in sending off the former Ghana Under-20 captain but Hearts are unimpressed and have filed an appeal to overturn the decision.
