Chukwueze joined Fulham on loan from AC Milan on deadline day but failed to make his debut as expected.

Silva stated that he wants Chukwueze to get to know his new teammates better before giving him game time.

“It was impossible for Chukwueze to start, probably he doesn’t know all his teammates’ names. He had two days of training after arriving on the last day, and off to play for his country,” Silva was quoted by the club’s official website.

Meanwhile, in Fulham's one-nil win fixtures Chukwueze's compatriots Alex Iwobi (76 minutes) and Calvin-Bassey (90 minutes).
