Nigeria's Gift Orban has been named the Player of the Month and awarded the Goal of the Month by his Belgian side, KAA Gent on Tuesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

He moved to Gent from the Norwegian second division, Satberc in December 2022 and has scored three goals in six appearances.
He was adjudged the man of the match after helping his side to a narrow, but vital win against Anderlecht over the weekend.

Orban's stunning strike earned Gent a one nil win, a win which put them fifth on the log in the Belgian Jupiler League.
