Ghana’s assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has revealed the team has made some adjustments to how they prepare for semi final matches.

The Black Stars come up against hosts Equatorial Guinea on Thursday for a place in the 2015 AFCON grand finale.

Ghana have often failed to scale the semi final hurdle in recent editions of the tournament.

The team have lost three of its immediate past four encounters at this stage of the competition.

Ghana’s assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has new coach Avram Grant has instituted some reforms to reverse this trend.

“The preparations is quite different this time around,” Konadu said.

“That is why some of is believe that we’re going to do a very good job.

“Because we’ve been around for some time and for us we didn’t know what happened but for the past two years we’ve seen how the team prepares for the fifth game.

“This time around Mr. Avram Grant – my boss – has brought a different dimension all together so we believe that tomorrow is going to be different.”
