The 29-year-old made his second debut for AshantiGold in the 2-2 draw with Heart of Lions in the First Capital Plus Premier League midweek clash in Obuasi.

It was the first time in five months the former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was playing competitive football.

Dauda lost his first choice role with the Black Stars on the basis of his lacking competitive activity.

He thus hopes to regain his position in the national team as he begins to get regular competitive games with his club.

“It was a good feeling to return to action after five-months, I felt very good,” Dauda told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“It’s all about hard work for now and I am sure with this and the chance to play more things will be better for me.”
