Ghana Football Association vice-president Fred Crentsil has rejected suggestions that Black Stars coach Avram Grant's secondment to the country's U20 side at the African Youth Championship means he will interfere in the job of coach Sellas 'Borbor' Tetteh.

Crenstil, who is also the coordinator of the Ghana national teams, insists Grant's association with the Black Satellites is not conflict interest claiming it will boost the various national teams in line with his mandate of helping other national teams.

The Israeli coach was given a ten-day break by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following his excellent work with the national team at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea this month.

The former Chelsea coach will return to Accra next week but will travel with the Black Satellites to Senegal for the tournament where he is expected to monitor players for the Black Stars while helping the Satellites with technical decisions.

This has sparked suggestions that he would interfere in the job of Borbor but Crentsil says he would rather be fulfilling the GFA's desire of spreading his vast experience across all the national teams.

“I don’t see any conflict of interest in his job; he will not interfere with Sellas Tetteh’s job he will offer Technical Directions to him when the championship starts," Fred Crentsil said.

“He is not going to take his job from Borbor, is as simple as that. We believe that he is a top class coach who wants to help the various national teams."

Grant watched Hearts of Oak play against New Edubiase United in the First Capital Plus Premier League immediately after the AFCON as he continues the search for more talents into the Black Stars.

He continue to monitor the league when he returns to the country to give him a fair idea about which home-based players could be handed Black Stars call-ups.

Grant will also travel to Senegal next month with the Black Satellites who will play at the Africa U20 Championship.

He is also expected to monitor talents as well as help the technical team if he is called upon to do so.
