Nigeria Super Eagles, forward, Ademola Lookman has been nominated For Serie A striker of the year, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Atalanta BC forward was nominated for the Forward of the Year award at the Gran Galà del Calcio.
The award which is in its 12th year is organized by the Italian Footballers Association in collaboration with DA – Demetrio Albertini 's sports marketing and events agency.
Lookman alongside Florentina's Albert guðmundsson, Lautaro Martínez of Inter Milan, Rafael Leão of AC Milan, , Inter Milan's Marcus Thuram and Joshua Zirkzee formerly of Bologna.
Lookman has already recorded eight goals and five assists for La Dea this campaign as they currently sit second in the Serie A standings and are unbeaten in four games in the UEFA Champions League.
The awards ceremony which will be held at the Superstudio Maxi in Milan on Monday 2 December 2024 will be determined by league footballers' votes.
