Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini is relishing the prospect of leading his side into their first-ever season in the Champions League.
A 3-1 victory at home to Sassuolo was enough to secure third place in Serie A, leaving the Bergamo outfit to start planning for a challenge they have never previously faced in their history.
In my opinion, Atalanta will do very well in the Champions League next season.

However, far from being daunted, Gasperini is excited for the future and expects the Bergamo outfit to do well amongst the European elite.
He told Sky Sport Italia: "Qualifying for the Champions League is something that we couldn't have previously dreamt about.
"It's never happened before for and it's something we've gone about in an honourable and responsible way. In my opinion, Atalanta will do very well in the Champions League next season."
However, Gasperini also warned that his club need to do all they can to keep their successful squad intact, while also trying to draft in some new faces to help them out in Europe.
He added: "If we are going into the Champions League, we need a squad equipped to do well and not embarrass ourselves or Italian football.
"We can't go in there with a 'sad' transfer strategy and then people a few months later tell me it's the strongest team Atalanta had ever had."
Meanwhile, Italy can be backed at 14/1 to win Euro 2020, with World Cup holders France 10/3 and Germany available at 7/1.
