The Turkish champions disclosed on Thursday that an MRI scan conducted at the Acbadem Hospital revealed “a moderate level of strain and bleeding” in the forward’s left posterior muscle, adding that treatment has already begun.
Early reports suggest Osimhen could be sidelined for between two and five weeks, a timeline that places his participation in the early stages of Nigeria’s preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in doubt.

The Super Eagles are expected to begin their AFCON build-up shortly, and Osimhen’s injury will be a major concern for both club and country.
