Former Akwa United winger Tenton Yenne joins Football Club Baltika

Nigerian winger Tenton Yenne has signed for Russian side, Baltika Kaliningrad, from Ararat Armenia on a free transfer, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Russian side announced on Sunday that the contract signed with the 24-year-old will run till June 5, 2028.

The Jos-born right winger played for Akwa United in 2018 before moving to Europe to join Slovakian Trencin, before he joined two more Slovakian clubs - Senica and Zilina.

In the winter of 2022, Yenne went to Armenia, signing a contract with the Noravank club, and six months later, he became a player of Ararat.

His time at Ararat saw him score 46 goals and make 24 assists in 113 matches. He scored 16 goals in the just concluded season to be among the top scorers of the league and the highest scorer in the club's history.
