According to The Indipendent, FIFA President Gianni Infantino is denying any involvement in the Super League fiasco.
“To listen to some clubs and to speak with some clubs doesn’t mean in any way whatsoever that FIFA was behind, was colluding, was plotting, (on) any Super League project", he said, per The Independent.
Recently, FIFA was under fire after it was reported that officials from breakaway teams had met with some of FIFA's top executives before announcing their plan of a breakaway league.

Infantino isn't denying holding talks with teams, but he is strongly denying collusion or any help from FIFA to the breakaway teams, or any effort to undermine UEFA.
