Federation Football Association (FIFA) has authorized the nationality switch for former England youth international goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, allowing him to play for Nigeria, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

Currently on loan at Wrexham from Arsenal, Okonkwo has been granted FIFA's approval to proudly represent the Super Eagles on the global stage.
The 22-year-old arrived at The Racecourse on a season-long loan from Premier League giants Arsenal in September before the summer transfer window closed.
The youngster is expected for a call up to the national team in the coming World Cup or AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
