Moses John of Mutunchi Football Academy will in the coming days travel to Portugal to join the Nigerian quartet of Chidozie Awaziem,Chidera Ezeh,Musa Yahaya and Fidelis Irhene at Portuguese giant FC Porto. Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal that Moses caught the attention of scouts from the Portuguese side during a recent tournament organised by Gee-Lec Football Academy in Abuja, same tournament from which FC Porto got their latest defence sensation Chidozie Awaziem 18 months ago.
He has already submitted his international passport to the Portuguese Embassy in Abuja and will be issued an entry visa before the end of this month in order for him to travel for a routine medical before signing a long term deal.
18 year old Moses is a forward who can play anywhere in attack due to his pace and skills however he is more comfortable playing as a top striker and that was the role he played the few times he was watched by scouts of FC Porto.
