EXCLUSIVE: Brazilian giants Flamengo want to sign Kevin-Prince Boateng, Ghanaian wants $6m annual salary

Schalke outcast Kevin-Prince Boateng is demanding €4 million to sign a one-year deal for Brazilian giants Flamengo, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 28-year-old is without a club afer he was sacked by the German side under controversial circumstances last week.

Schalke officials questioned his commitment and loyalty, leading to his shock dismissal.

Brazilian side Flamengo have contacted the Ghanaian international over a possible move to the South American country.

The former AC Milan man has agreed to join the Big Mengo if they can pay € 4 million for a one year contract, Ghana’s leading football website, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

Consulting firm, affiliated with the Brazilian side, RE Sporting Marketing are negotiating with  Boateng to lower his demands as they are willing to pay half of his salary.

Top businessman Ronaldo Goiano has decided to invest in the idea of bringing in a high-profile player to the club and has initiated moves to bring the highly troubled Ghanaian international to Brazil.

Boateng’s career has been characterized by controversies after he was sacked by Ghana during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil following a verbal tirade at former coach Kwesi Appiah.

He has been linked with a move to Turkish side Galatasaray while Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls have been cited as a possible destination.
