Ghana will play Senegal in a friendly this month in a rematch of their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations Group C clash, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.
According to an Africanfootball.com report, the match will take place at the yet to be named venue in Paris and the date also yet to be confirmed by the two associations.
Senegal snatched a late winner to beat the Black Stars 2-1 in he two sides met in the Equatoguinean city of Mongomo on 19 January the Lions of Teranga could not advance to the knockout stage.
“We have agreed in principle to play Senegal but we are yet to sign the contract,” a Ghana FA source told Africanfootball.com
Ghana have also agreed to play West African opponents Mali in France on 29 March.
Senegal have appointed ex-international Aliou Cisse as new head coach to replace Alain Giresse who failed to guide the team progress from the Group stage.
Both countries want to take advantage of this month’s FIFA free dates for international friendlies to prepare for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which start in June.
