Ghana midfielder Godfred Donsah has exclusively told GHANASoccernet.com the ankle injury he picked up in Sunday’s Serie A match against Hellas Verona nothing serious.

Donsah was replaced after 13 minutes after twisting his ankle in the home match against his former side which they lost 1-0.

The 18-year-old had a scan on Monday afternoon the doctors confirmed, “there was nothing broken”.

Donsah told GHANASoccernet.com: “I only twisted my ankle and I didn’t break any bone so there’s nothing to fear about. I will be out for ten days or two weeks. Hopefully I should be back stronger.”

The Ghana youth international has been a revelation in the Italian top-flight in the second half of the season.

He has two goals in 16 Serie A appearances for the relegation-threatened side.
