Ex-Hearts of Oak striker Awudu Adama says it “horrible” watching the Phobians these days
Former Hearts of Oak striker Awudu Adama has questioned the commitment of the current Hearts of Oak players after their 1-0 defeat to Aduana Stars.
A solitary strike from Richard Arhin succumbed the Phobian into the Relegation zone of the ongoing First Capital Plus Premier League.
The result meant the 2000 continental club masters are without a win in their last six games, a situation that has seen the head coach Herbert Addo pay the ultimate price.
But Awudu Adama who watched from the stands as the Phobians struggled to even craft out chances has questioned the commitment levels of the players and says their attitude is not at the equal expected of players representing the club.
“Hearts of Oak is a big club and no matter what players should always know that it’s an honor to represent the clubs,” Adama said
‘”May be not today but after sometime some of them will look back and say they missed an opportunity because like all great clubs Hearts will bounce back some day.”
“For me I admit all is not well but as players when you take to the field you should give your all for the colors it’s very horrible watching them especially in the game against Aduana Stars this weekend.”
