Ex-Hearts of Oak coach CK Akunnor has ruled out a return to the club.
Akunnor, who is the current trainer of high-flying second-tier side Dreams FC, endured a difficult one-year spell at the club, leading to his dismissal in 2012 following a string of poor displays.
Three-years after his exit, the capital-based club has struggled in the domestic scene, where they have played catch-ups to their arch-rivals Kotoko.
The former African champions are currently involved in the relegation dog-fight but the ex-Ghana international has ruled himself out of returning to the club next season.
“No and emphatic n!. I am returning to Hearts next season. I am happy where I am at the moment,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM
“Dreams FC is a project that excites me and I look forward to nurturing new talents.
“The management, technical team and playing body all have their roles and I’m very happy here.”
