However, Emery is aware that he will need to improve his side still further to be considered as potential champions, with table-topping Manchester City eight points ahead of the Gunners with 14 games played this season.
He told reporters ahead of another major showdown, against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening: "At the moment, Manchester City have a clear advantage over us in points and goals.
"The difference between us and Liverpool isn't as big, but also important. We are now in terms of points, performances and the goals we're scoring, with Chelsea and Tottenham. This is the reality.
"The Premier League is the first competition for us, but the Europa League is exciting and we also have the Carabao and FA Cups.
"I want to think about the possibility, maybe not this year, of a title with Arsenal. At the moment we are consistent in our mentality, (but) we know we need to improve."
Arsenal last won in the league at Old Trafford back in September 2006, when Emmanuel Adebayor scored the only goal of the game four minutes from time.
The visitors are to secure all three points on Wednesday evening and are to claim a 2-1 victory, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score at any time.
Aubameyang has already scored ten Premier League goals this season, with his overall league return for the Gunners 20 goals in 27 appearances since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in January.
