Arsenal defender Rob Holding appears to be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after sustaining a knee injury in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United.
Holding had to be stretchered from the field nine minutes before half-time at Old Trafford, with Gunners head coach Unai Emery expecting bad news to be confirmed when Holding is assessed.
We wanted to win, but we can feel this point is good.
Unai Emery
He told reporters after the draw: "The worst for us was the news with Rob Holding. We are going to wait for what the doctor tells us, but it is maybe a big injury. We are going to wait, it is his knee.
"The other is Aaron Ramsey, but it is a small injury with him."
Midfielder Ramsey limped out of the clash with the Red Devils at half-time, with Emery content with a point, while also feeling that his side could have taken all three points.
The Spaniard added: "I think we controlled the game, the second half better than the first. We could have won this match in certain moments, but they equalised very quickly after both of our goals.
"We need to improve defensively, but we need to have balance and not lose our attacking chances.
"We perhaps lost a bit of control there, but we created lots of chances after 2-2 and I am very proud of our performance. We wanted to win, but we can feel this point is good."
Having dropped to fifth place in the table, Arsenal are now 10/11 to secure a top-four finish come the end of the season, with Chelsea priced at 4/9 and Tottenham 4/11.
