Edith Agoye tells Enugu State Govt to keep faith with Maikaba

After the one all draw result in their match against Ranger of Enugu, Sunshine Stars Coach, Edith Agoye has called for patience on the part of the Enugu State government for the Coaching Crew of Rangers.

A 2-match ultimatum was given to Abdu Maikaba and his team of coaches after results Didi go their way in match day 1 and 2 of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.

The Flying Antelopes got a point for the first time this season in one of the match with ultimatum to win against Sunshine Stars.

However, Agoye said after expressing satisfaction over the result the match against Rangers said that the crew needs time to turn the fortune of the Enugu based club which have win the Nigeria football league seven times.

"It was a very good game, despite the fact that they (Rangers) had their back to the wall they played a very good game. They are coached by one of the best coaches in Nigeria and I want the Enugu Government to keep faith with the team, believe me, with time they will get it right."

Rangers will travel to Minna to face Niger Tornadoes in their next match in a make or Mar encounter that could define their season.
