Eddie Ansah remains upbeat of Hearts' chances against Berekum Chelsea despite possible absence of influential duo
Hearts of Oak’s caretaker coach Eddie Ansah believes he has a strong enough team to get the desired results against Berekum Chelsea despite the likely absence of Foovi Aguidi and Abdoulaye Soulama.
The Phobians are likely to be without the two key players for their penultimate league match against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
Both Foovi Aguidi and Abdoulaye Soulama are away on national team duty with Togo and Burkina Faso respectively.
And though Abdoulaye Soulama revealed he is making arrangements for a quick return in order to play for Hearts on Sunday, caretaker coach Eddie Ansah remains doubtful.
The former Ghana goalkeeper is however confident his team can go ahead and do the job on Chelsea even in the absence of the key duo.
“Football is a team game. Soulama will be out because he is on national duty; Foovi too has gone but we believe he [Agudi] will be coming before our next game,” Ansah said.
“They play on Friday so he is likely to report on Saturday. We will definitely have Foovi around but for Soulama, I don't think we will have him around.
“But I think we have others around to do the job for us.”
