Asante Kotoko head coach David Duncan has lauded the defensive prowess of defender Ahmed Adams insisting the boy has a greater future if he continues to be submissive to his coaches.

According to David Duncan the defender has demonstrated his readiness to learn anytime he is on the field of play and at the training grounds and that if he does not adopt the 'attitude' of most Ghanaian players, he will go places.

"That is the spirit of a great person. The attitude of always learning. I am not saying this because he is my player but the boy has shown signs of learning and you can all see it", Duncan told Ghanasoccernet.com.

"It is just a principle of life. Anyone who is ready to learn is ready to progress. Adams has shown me that so far. For me I don't just believe in a player putting his hands behind him and listening to a coach. I believe in a player who listens and puts that into action. That is learning and the boy is like that".

"If he continues like that, he will go places soon. Coaches always feel proud of their players when they are getting on top and I believe Adams will be at the top soon"  he added.

Ahmed Adams joined Asante Kotoko on a three year deal from Berekum Chelsea after a short spell in the Saudi Pro League and has since been a rock in the defence  of the Porcupine Warriors winning the club's first  player of the month award in July.
