Wikki Tourist, a Nigeria National League side, has appointed seasoned tactician Abdullahi Maikaba as their new manager, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
His appointment marked his second stint with the club after previously managing them in 2016.
The 59-year-old is set to be unveiled as the Bauchi Elephants' technical adviser later this week, tasked with guiding the team to promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after their third-place finish in the NNL Northern Conference Group A last season.
Maikaba boasts a wealth of experience in the NPFL, having managed top clubs like Kano Pillars, Rangers, Plateau United, Akwa United, and Enyimba.
His appointment is seen as a strategic move by Wikki Tourist to bolster their chances of securing promotion to the top flight.
