Foreign-based trio; Emmanuel Ntim, Osei Barnes and Emmanuel Boateng will not be available to play for the Ghana U20 team on the commencement of their international friendly tournament on Saturday.
The three players were unable to travel with the Black Satellites team that left Accra for the tournament in New Zealand on Wednesday due to delays in securing traveling visas.
Ghana will face Qatar, Australia and New Zealand in a four-nation international tournament as part of preparations towards the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup.
But the three foreign-based players reported to the Black Satellites’ domestic camp late – leading to the delay in processing their travel documents.
The three players have now secured the required traveling visa and will join the team alongside management committee chairman Wilfred Osei on Saturday.
The players’ arrival is however considered too late for them to join the side in the opening game of the international friendly tournament.
