Cruz Azul has reached the LigaMX final for a second year in a row, after they beat Pachuca 1-0 in the second leg of the semifinal, after both teams had drawn 0-0 in the first leg.
Cruz Azul were the better side during the first half, dominating possession even though they were not able to finalize it in a score; Jonathan Rodriguez came closest when he hit the post right at the end of the half.
