Moffi moved to the Rivera from Lorient for a deal white about €25m plus add ons.
The Nigerian made his debut last weekend playing over 70 minutes against Olympique Marseille but could get a goal although his side came out top.
Moffi scored 12 goals in 18 league appearances for Lorient before switching to Nice.
