Christian Atsu fails to recover from virus infection; ruled out of Stoke City clash tonight
Ghana midfielder Christian Atsu is unavailable for selection for his English side Everton in Wednesday’s league match against Stoke City due to illness.

The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations Most Valuable Player failed to recover from the virus infection.
Atsu missed the 3-1 Europa League win over Swiss side Young Boys last Thursday and Sunday’s match at Arsenal.
The on-loan from Chelsea player is yet to replicate the performance that made him a gem at the AFCON.

Atsu has made only four league appearances for Roberto Martinez’s side.
