Nigeria international striker Sunday Faleye is in line to join Ibrahim Alhassan popularly called Muazam at Austrian side Austria Wien, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Faleye was one of the stars of the Nigerian team that finished as runners-up at the recently concluded African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco, and that has lead to interest from teams in Europe.
Austria Wien are however leading the race for his signature but his trip to team up with his potential new teammates is currently held up by the medical treatment he is receiving for the elbow injury he picked up during the CHAN Championship.
Talks are way advanced between his representatives and that of the club and barring any last minute hiccup, the move is as good as done although there are still grey areas that needed to be sorted out.
