General Manager of the Club , Pius Henwan said the decision to throw the stadium gate open, is to ensure massive support for the team as they seek to overcome the Gabonese champions and progress to the next round of the competition.

While appealing to soccer fans and Abuja residents in particular for support , the General Manager assured the boys will not disappoint as they are well-motivated to get the job done.

"As a club, we have put all machinery in place to come out victorious in the encounter. All that is needed has been provided to ensure that the boys put up a decent outing and give soccer-loving Nigerians something to cheer about.

The Peace Boys as Plateau United are fondly called need an outright victory or at least a goaless draw to qualify for the second round of the preliminary stage of the African premier club competition.
