As the draws for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup are set to be done on Thursday, Nigeria representatives have been placed in different pots, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The draws which are scheduled for Thursday (today) in Cairo, Egypt have Nigeria League champions, Rangers International and runners up, Remo Stars in the draw or the Champions League.
The Flying Antelopes and Sky Blue Stars have been placed in Pot 4 and Pot 3 respectively ahead of Thursday’s CAF Champions League draw in Cairo, Egypt with a total of 59 clubs to be engaged from 47 African countries.
In the CAF Confederation Cup draw, two-times CAF Champions League winners, Enyimba have been exempted (drawn bye) from the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round ahead of Thursday’s draw in Cairo, Egypt.
Nigeria President Federation Cup winners, El Kanemi Warriors were however placed in Pot 1.
A total of 52 clubs will be engaged from 41 African countries for the Confederation Cup draw which will begin at 1pm Nigeria time.
