CAFCC: ASFAR bring Remo Stars' journey to an abrupt end

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Remo Stars were one of the causalities of the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup after their loss to ASFAR on Sunday.

The Blue Stars from Ogun State succumbed to a one nil defeat to end their debut campaign at the continental tournament abruptly.

Remo had played a one all draw in the first leg at Rabat, Morocco, but a one nil loss scuttled a supposed advantage.

Guede's 56th minute goal sunk Remo, ending their hopes of a second round progression in the competition for the first time.
