Super Sand Eagles started their qualifiers campaign with a slim win over Mauritania, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian team defeated the Mauritania 5-4 at the 2024 African Beach Soccer Qualifiers first round in Nouakchott.

The Super Sand Eagles lead by Goalkeeper Coach of Sporting Lagos, Coach Abdullahi Isa go into the second leg in Nigeria with the advantage.

It will be recalled that the team is making a return to beach soccer since 2019.

The Supersand Eagles will look to finish the job in the return leg, scheduled for Saturday, July 27, in Nigeria.
