Nigeria U-20 head coach Ladan Bosso has said his players must stamp their authority from the beginning to the game as the Flying Eagles play Mozambique in their last group game at the 23rd African U-20 Championship. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Nigeria came into the tournament with 18 wins in their friendlies but have had their fair share of reality in the championship proper.
After loosing to Senegal in the first game, Nigeria through defender Solomon Agbabiaka scored a late goal to defeat the host Egypt in midweek.
As the Flying prepare to face Mozambique in the last group A tie, Nigeria must avoid defeat and Bosso has revealed his expectation.
“We must stamp our authority on the game from the beginning as we have no idea what will happen in the match between Egypt and Senegal. Our fate is in our hands,” Bosso said.
The game will kick-off at 6pm Nigerian time.
