The Super Eagles striker has hit 17 goals across all competitions this season for the Wasps, establishing himself as one of the most feared forwards in England.

Bastianelli told TMW Radio: "He [Ighalo] is having a very positive season, he has already scored 17 goals, is fighting for the FA Cup thanks to his goal against Arsenal.

"If we look at the numbers from December 2014, he has scored 35 goals, 20 in the Championship and 15 this year.

"The final is an important showcase. He is certainly in the notebooks of the most important clubs, both in England and abroad, but now we want to finish the season."

Ighalo will have a chance to add to his goal tally when Watford play away to West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.
