President of Beyond Limit Football Academy, Honourable Kunle Soname has hinted at a possibility of selling of their Nigeria Premier Football League slot, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.
The football administrator in an interview with newsmen revealed the club is a business enterprise and if the management feel it will not be profitable to venture into the league next season, it will monetize it NPFL promotion ticket.
“We are private entrepreneurs, and football for us is not social service. It is business. The management of Beyond Limits are already sitting together to see if they can cope with the challenges and the rigours of Premiership vis a vis financial commitment and also physical commitment. If they feel they are up to it 100 percent they will play. If they feel they are not up to it, they will have to think of other ways of monetizing the their laurel."
Kunle spoke following reports of Beyond Limit Football Academy selling it slot to one of the relegated teams in the 2023/2024 NPFL season.
The Ikenne based side had qualified for next season's NPFL after coming tops of the Southern Conference group in the Nigeria National League Super Eight and emerging champions in the process after beating Nasarawa United in the final.
