Bassey and Omeruo sit out, Uzoho plays defense as Nigeria intensify training ahead of friendlies
The second training session of the Super Eagles had the whole squad in camp but defenders Calvin Bassey and Keneth Omeruo were excused, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The training on Wednesday evening was under the watch of the interim manager, Finidi George who reportedly played goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho as a midshift defender.
This approach is from the Enyimba tactician is suspected to be due to the absence of two key defenders in Bassey and Keneth Omeruo.
