Super Eagles Defender, Leon Balogun could make a surprise return to Glasgow Rangers in January, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
Balogun left the Ibrox Stadium this summer alongside Calvin Bassey and Joe Aribo but he could be on his way back barely six months later.
A section of the Scottish media is agog with the possibility of seeing Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun return to Glasgow Rangers months after leaving the club.
This comes after the news that Rangers were set to announce Michael Beale as their next manager in the next 24 hours after Giovanni Van Bronckhorst's sack.
With this development, it is believed that Beale who worked with Balogun in Rangers before they both left for QPR may snap up the defender especially with the defensive challenges of Rangers currently.
Beale quickly snapped up Balogun when he was released by Rangers as the Nigerian international penned a one-year deal at QPR.
Balogun is out of contract in the summer, meaning he is free to speak to clubs about a pre-contract agreement in January.
