BA United veteran midfielder Kwabena Dodzie has lashed out at Mohammed Gargo for his betting charges against the players.
The former Kotoko defensive midfielder says the trainer has embarrassed himself and the club for spewing out such lies about the players.
Gargo, a former Ghana international sensationally accused his players of engaging in sport betting over the weekend in the wake of their 2-1 defeat at home to All Stars.
The public accusation has not gone down well with the top brass of the club as it has tainted their image amid the public uproar.
And the ex-Great Olympics player has criticized him for ridiculing the club.
“It’s a shame that a person in the caliber of Gargo will make such an allegation,” he fumed
“I am totally shocked and lost for words. Is that how a coach should behave?
“Assuming without admitting that what he’s saying is true, do you go public with such an embarrassing situation?
“I don’t think any coach worth his sort will do that. I am really disappointed. His comment has brought shame to the people of the players and the people of the Brong Ahafo region.”
United officials are tight-lipped on his status despite the growing reports claiming he’s been sacked after just a game in charge.
