Ghana and Malmo FF midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi is struggling to come to terms with his axing from Ghana’s provisional Africa Cup of Nations squad.
The youngster was among six players coach Avram Grant chopped off before flying out to Spain on Sunday evening.
Edu Kofi has been one of the most consistent Ghanaian players in the last two years and played in the UEFA Champions League with his team Malmo this season.
“I have been in great shape over the past three seasons. I believe I was in the right frame of mind and form to give my all to the Black Stars at the 2015 AFCON,” the former Ghana youth international told Allsportsgh.com
“I guess I will have to do more to catch the eyes of the technical handlers and I know my time will definitely come.”
Adu Kofi won the Swedish league with Malmo last season.
