AshGold goalkeeper Robert Dabuo confident side will see out second round challenge to clinch league title
AshantiGold coach Robert Dabuo is confident the side can retain its lead of the Ghana Premier League until the end of the season.
The Miners finished the first half of the First Capital Plus League three points clear at the top of the league log.
AshGold have however been in a similar position in the past only to capitulate in the end.
But goalkeeper Robert Dabuo believes the team will see out the expected fierce second round challenge to clinch their first league trophy in over two decades.
“I don’t think any team can overtake AshGold this season,” he said.
“This will be a very big achievement for we the players and we are determined to win the league for our supporters.
“It has been a long time since AshGold won the league and we are ready to put in the hard work in the second round to achieve this.”
