Arokodare gets support from Genk in face racism

Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk is deeply troubled by recent instances of racial abuse directed towards players, staff, and fans. The club unequivocally condemns all forms of discrimination and stands firmly against racism in any context.

Recall Nigeriasoccernet.com revealed the racial abused directed towards the Smurf’s forward, Tolu Arokodare following his penalty miss against Club Brugge on Sunday.

Arokodare after his team’s 3-0 defeat became a subject of name calling most of which are  racially disrespectful.

In wake of this, KRC Genk have shown support to the young Nigerian forward emphasizing its commitment to promoting equality and diversity.

Genk will next play standard de liège in the league and it will be interesting to see the reaction of the fans should Arokodare play.
