According to a report by TUDN, Club America has officially received an offer for Colombian striker Roger Martinez from Argentine giants Boca Juniors. The Mexican club seems to have turned down the Xeneizes offer, after it was not deemed adequate by the club's top brass. America is reportedly asking for at least $10M, while Boca's offer, according to a report from various Argentine news media, is in the $5-7M range.

Martinez has received several offers from Europe and South America, but Club America seem intent in retaining the Colombian, unless an irrefutable offer reaches Las Aguilas; the striker is coming off a good tournament, and he's now a key piece in manager Santiago Solari's scheme.

Boca is expected to try again with a new offer in the upcoming days; a report talks about an offer for a $1.5M loan with obligation to buy for an additional $6M.
