As mentioned in a report from last week, Club America's Roger Martinez seems to be one of Argentine giants Boca Junior's top targets for this transfer window.

The club, now managed by legend Juan Roman Riquelme, have come back to the negotiating table with their latest offer for the Ecuadorian. Reportedly, this latest offer would consist of $5M for half of Martinez' rights, but America still deem it inadequate and have refused. Las Aguilas however, are open to a counteroffer from Boca, but it has to be the right one in the Mexicans' eyes.

Martinez had his best campaign yet this past tournament, by scoring 6 goals and playing in 18 matches; this in turn piqued the interest of many clubs, chief among them Boca, who are now trying hard to acquire his services.
