Senegal coach Alain Giresse has urged his players not to get carried away following a fabulous come-back win over Ghana.

Mousa Sow’s stoppage-time goal clinched victory for the Terranga Lions in Mongomo and put them in the steering wheel in group C.

Senegal produced a remarkable display to cancel out Andre Ayew’s 13th minute penalty strike with Mame Diouf getting the equalizer before the Fenerbahçe striker stole the show.

Giresse, who is an experienced Africa-hand having coached Gabon and Mali wants his players to keep calm.

"It is always better to take three points, but it doesn't mean we are guaranteed to qualify, just as the defeat for Ghana does not mean they are eliminated," Giresse said after the game.

"There are still two matches to play. The efforts we put in during the second half are an encouraging sign.
