Rasheedat Ajibade has set her sights on winning her first piece of silverware in French football after playing a decisive role in Paris Saint-Germain Féminine’s 3–0 victory over Paris FC Féminines to book a place in the final of the Coupe LFFP, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Falcons captain delivered the final blow in a commanding derby display, sealing PSG’s second win over their city rivals in less than a week and highlighting her growing influence since arriving in France in 2025.

The semi-final began cautiously, with both sides probing for openings but struggling to create clear-cut chances. Paris FC came closest in the 10th minute when Klaudia Jedlinska’s angled effort struck the crossbar. PSG, however, weathered the early pressure and gradually asserted control.

The breakthrough arrived just two minutes into the second half when Romée Leuchter calmly slotted home to ignite PSG’s dominance. Merveille Kanjinga doubled the advantage on the hour mark, capitalising on sustained attacking pressure and leaving Paris FC with a mountain to climb.

Ajibade put the contest beyond doubt in the 89th minute, finding space inside the penalty area before finishing confidently past goalkeeper Tara Elimbi Gilbert. Her strike capped a polished team performance and secured PSG’s place in the final of the competition’s inaugural edition.

Having joined PSG after a successful four-year stint with Atlético Madrid Femenino, where she lifted the Copa de la Reina and the Supercopa de España Femenina, Ajibade has quickly adapted to French football.

Now on the brink of adding a French trophy to her résumé, the Nigerian forward sees the upcoming final as more than just a title opportunity. It represents a defining moment to further establish her legacy at PSG and reinforce her standing among Europe’s elite attackers.
