Africa heat up for U-17 Women's World Cup with final six

Six African nations are battling it out for the three remaining spots in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup which include Burundi, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Zambia, and Liberia emerged victorious from intense two-legged playoffs to form the "final six" of the CAF qualifiers, Nigeriasoccernet.com.

Burundi stomped Djibouti 18-0 on aggregate, while Kenya edged past Ethiopia 3-0 after a scoreless first leg. These two will face each other on June 7th in a crucial first encounter.

Morocco mirrored their dominance with a resounding 8-0 aggregate win against Algeria. They'll now lock horns with Zambia, who edged past Uganda 2-1 overall, hoping to replicate their senior team's recent success.

Nigeria, the reigning champions, showcased their might with a commanding 13-1 aggregate victory over Burkina Faso. They'll battle Liberia, who upset Senegal on away goals after winning the second leg 2-0 to overturn a 3-1 deficit.

The victors from these final clashes will secure their tickets to the U-17 Women's World Cup! The first leg matches kick off on June 7th, with the return legs following a week later across Africa.
