Nigeria have beaten Guinea Bissau in the second leg of the African Cup of Nations qualifier match at the September 26 Stadium on Monday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles pip the Wild Dogs by a goal to nil to revenge their four days ago defeat at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

Moses Simon's 30th minute penalty kick was enough to earn the Eagles the win and back to the top of the group standings.

Bright Osayi-Samuel made a darting run into the Guinea Bissau's box and was brought down by Kande for the Nantes winger to convert and give Nigeria the led.

It turned out the match winner after a cagey affair in the second half which chances on both sides not being converted.

The win returns the Super Eagles to winning ways after four consecutive loses.
